Al is a longtime resident of Brisbane, California. He has been performing in Bands and Combos since 1968. Seeking out the drums and music in school, he grew to love what "THE BEAT" added to Music and Rock & Roll. Seeing a need to add a voice to the music, AL started adding his vocal talents to expand his Rock Sound.
While being a solid member of many successful Rock Bands, Al felt he wanted to create his own band to perform the songs he loved and offer his clients a memorable music experience. He began to Manage and Perform in the Bands that followed, with other Professional Musicians in the Bay Area.
Al has always loved the " The 60's Sounds", that he grew up on. With that core focus "THE HEART THROB BAND" was born. He made a specific effort to partner with other PRO Musicians that shared his vision. Please join Al and the HEART THROB BAND for a journey back to those Magical Years of Great Dance Music.

AI and Jim performed together throughout the 1970's with their first successful Band "The Working Half". Building on a long friendship and musical bond, in 2017, they again joined forces with "The HEART THROB Band" to create the Dance and Party Sound they do so well.

Dave began playing in bands in the mid 1960's, performing the music of the times. He filled in on drums with a local San Jose Surf Band, then studied guitar and singing to extend his skills.
After 4 years in the Military, he returned to his love of music by joining several bands in the 70's. Dave grew again with the addition of learning Bass Guitar, to compliment the "Disco Era" Bands popular at the time. Sharing his talents on the road and in the clubs, he kept performing. The 1990's captured Dave with the Country Band "12 Gauge" as their Bassist and Frontman, in the San Francisco Area. In 2008, Dave founded a very successful band called, "The B Sides", playing all the sounds of the 60's Rock & Roll. Performing at Art & Wine Festivals, Concerts, Great America Events, Car Shows, Parties and many indoor and outdoor facilities, to share their sound.
In 2017, Dave lent his smooth vocals and booming Bass Lines to "The HEART THROB Band" and the rest, as they say, was history.
